Q: I am a consultant customizing/extending XXE as described in "XMLmind XML Editor - Configuration and Deployment". However XXE seems to ignore all the files I have created in its addon/ subdirectory. What am I doing wrong?

A: As of v4.9, you need temporarily disable the Quick Start and Schema caches while you are customizing/extending XXE. This is done by unchecking the corresponding checkboxes in Options|Preferences, Advanced|Cached Data section.
