Policy of the xmleditor-support public mailing list

item Personal Edition users, please remember that

  • support to power users customizing or extending XXE by the means of configuration files, CSS files, schema files, XML catalogs, etc,
  • support to developers customizing or extending XXE by the means of its APIs,

are reserved to the customers of Professional Edition.

Therefore, your questions related to customizing or extending XXE will not be answered. This restriction does not apply if you post a bug report or a feature request.

item Professional Edition customers, you are strongly encouraged to post your questions to the xmleditor-support public mailing list, rather than use the private email address you have received.

Two good reasons for that:

  1. The xmleditor-support mailing list may be browsed and searched by all XXE users.
  2. A substantial number of XXE users have subscribed to this mailing list. These users are often better than the XMLmind support team at solving platform dependant problems and at answering questions about a specific document type (e.g. DocBook, DITA). These users may really help you.
