Purchase of any Professional Edition license also grants:

• Free access to new releases during one year.

  This includes minor as well as major releases. For example, if V5.0 is released less than one year after a customer has purchased V4.9, this customer will be able to upgrade to V5.0 for free.

• Unlimited developer support by e-mail for 3 months from date of purchase.

  This type of support is intended to help the customer integrate XXE in his information system.

• Access to the full source code of the product (included in the xe-site and xe-dev distributions, available on request for customers having purchased 10 xe-usr licenses or more).

  The source code must be considered as being the ultimate documentation of the product and nothing else. Extending XXE does not require the customer to modify the source code. Extending XXE is achieved by implementing documented interfaces using documented APIs.

Professional Edition User License is a ``floating license'', that is, it is not attached to a specific user or to a specific computer. Moreover, the terms of this license make the deployment of Professional Edition extremely flexible. For example, it makes Professional Edition well-suited for highly distributed companies, often working with independent contractors.
