Click the " Paragraph" toolbar button to add a new p element after caret position[1].

Handy keyboard shortcuts

The following keyboard shortcuts, commonly found in word processors, also work in XMLmind XML Editor:

• Pressing ENTER at the very end of a p element inserts a new p after it.
• Pressing ENTER at the very beginning of a p element inserts a new p before it.
• Pressing ENTER anywhere inside a p element splits this p in two.
• Pressing ENTER at the very end of a head element inserts a new p after it.

These other keyboard shortcuts are specific to XXE:

• Pressing Ctrl-ENTER[2] anywhere inside a p element inserts a new p after it.
• Pressing Ctrl+Shift-ENTER[2] anywhere inside a p element inserts a new p before it.
